Vibæk Mill Support Association was founded in 1999 with the aim of providing financial and other forms of support to the Vibæk Mill Foundation, and to help preserve the old buildings with their windmill and watermill, which are among the last places in Denmark to have both a windmill and a watermill.
Many volunteer helpers contribute to us being able to hold 4 events a year, specifically June – July – August and November. Here there are various exhibitions and working stalls in both the windmill and watermill. In the bakery, bread is baked in the mill's old stone oven.
One day a week all year round, a group of helpers are at the mill to renovate and maintain the buildings and the surrounding area.
The Support Association organises tours and events throughout the year.
The support association has its own company registration number and separate accounts, and any surplus is set aside so that the Vibæk Mølle Foundation can apply for donations for building renovations, not for operational costs.
The support association is managed by a board of 5 members.
